3 weeks

Gosh where do I begin... I can not believe that 3 weeks has already gone by since my little angel arrived, and shortly left this world.. Where does time go? Well I had my postpartum appointment yesterday, and the doctor was REALLY nice and respectful... My incision isn't healing as fast as it should, and I have depression...but DUH..i have just lost a baby, so isn't that normal? I would think so....Emma and I got out and went shopping Tuesday...We had to get her some Summer stuff....and It was sooo hard to walk into the mall and see all of the babies...I just want to Scream "I just had a baby too, I have two children...not just one!!!" therefore I went out and bought Emma and Me airbrushed shirts..Mine says Proud Mommy with Seth and Emma's names on the back, and Emma's says Big Sister... I wanted it to say Big sister to an angel, or My little brother's an Angel, but it wouldnt now everytime we go to the mall, we will wear those shirts....hehe...well thats all I have for now....thanks for checking on..Love you all....

  1. I'm glad the doctor was so nice. I hope your incision gets better. I wonder why it is healing slow. Hope there's nothing wrong! Having depression after a loss is not surprising at all. I hope that it eases for you. I totally understand the mall...I felt like that too last weekend when we went. I wanted to scream the exact same thing. I wanted people 2 know that I didn't have just one child. I think the shirts are a neat idea. :) I bought Kyndra a shirt while we were at the mall. Says Big Sister (4 Ever). I love it. The days are hard PJ and I pray you feel God's closeness during this time.

  2. I have been following your blog for a few months now. This is my 1st time posting a comment, but I just have to tell you I think you are amazing!!!
God bless you & your family

  3. Thank you so much for your update. My incision from my last c section healed very slow so I know how painful it is, I will pray that it gets better and heals fast for you. ((HUGS)) to you on your first mother's day of being a Mommy of two. You should be proud of it, and scream it from the rooftops! It is a part of who you are...

  4. Your children are so beautiful! Best of luck, Tiffany

  5. I just came across your site.

You will always be a mom to your little boy.

I recently read an article where a woman said what mother's want most is to know their children will be with God one day. Our children are truly not our own, they are a gift from God to be given back one day. Your beautiful baby boy is in heaven with Jesus.

I hope you can find healing and strength.

May God bless you and your family.
